I had two dreams. The first one was based off of a game called "Sky, Children of the light" and I was in the perspective of a Watcher. I was watching two supposed "Sky kid" characters, one on the ground in the middle of a field with a giant open tent full to chairs and some other "Sky kids" And a smaller child that was flying in the air, before noticing the other "Sky kid" and flying towards, speeding towards them just before hugging them mid-air and calling the other child "Sui mai" the word for a Chinese dumpling dish, but said in a complimentary child-like wonder type of voice. Then one of them put an empty gas canister on the top of the tent's roof as a "joke" and then everyone went to sit together by four chairs, likely having a happy conversations. Aftwrwards I woke up, went online to see other people's type of dreams based around the game. Then went to a website that had two people arguing about religion and the definition of "God's will" and OF Jesus christ. I am a very religious teenager with valuing Christian morals, even if most of the time it does stress me from external and social pressures and other people's expectations, including becoming overcomplicated by how much other people say it's rules and regulations and punishments are,and then becoming Jaded at times because of becoming overcomplicatined. Besides also having troubles with the religion's praying and reading practices only because of my Adhd and form of Ocd called "Scrupulosity" a form of religious obsession, addiction based off of anxiety and constant paranoia. Causing me a lot of confusion, stress and obsession out of Fear of consequences. Anyways, I went back to sleep after reaching the end of the argument. And I had a second dream, in that said dream I was getting out of my house after getting ready to go to school, I was for some reason holding a suitcase and my clothes as very formal, but not different from my usual outfit. I was then expected by my big sister who followed me as I was going downstairs to go outside from my apartment. She then expected my teeth and I saw that my teeth had holes in them. The holes looked more like something was drilled or carved out, or something crawled out of it. Either way, i tried smiling while seeing the teeth and then tried licking Inbetween where the holes were out of curiosity, with no difference in texture. Besides how strange that dream was, after I woke up I was a lot more happier in mood in my morning routine despite having to hurry and waking up late, which was only interrupted when I picked out 2 Cookies and a tiny muffin to go with my coffee for breakfast and almost choking on a small peice of the cookie. Besides that, I tried going to the same spot downstairs in real life as it was shown in my dream. I tried position myself as how I were and I tried smiling. Only noticing once I looked up they just upstairs there was a man outside trying to fix some decorations. And also finding someone's apartment door open with an old Crtv screenplaying the animated kids show "curious George" and it showing a clip of curious George messing around in a train control room in a happy manner, ringing bells.
Dreams can often serve as reflections of our thoughts, feelings, and experiences, providing valuable insights into our inner lives. Let’s break down both of your dreams to explore their meanings and the emotions they may express.
Setting and Characters: Your dream begins in a field with reminiscences of the game "Sky, Children of the Light," where you take on the role of a Watcher, which can symbolize a desire for perspective and understanding. The playful interaction between the "Sky kids" suggests a longing for innocence and joy, possibly reflecting your desire to reconnect with a childlike sense of wonder, especially given your current struggles with religious pressures. The child who hugs the other and calls them "Sui mai," a term of endearment, indicates a craving for connection, affection, and acceptance.
Symbolism of the Tent and Chairs: The tent full of chairs may represent a community or safe space, signaling a need for camaraderie amidst feelings of isolation or stress. The act of placing an empty gas canister on the roof as a joke might imply a recognition that some worries might not be as serious as they seem. It suggests a playfulness that contrasts with the more serious pressures you face in your waking life.
Overall Interpretation: This dream could reflect your yearning for acceptance and the simplicity of joy amidst the complexities you face daily due to social expectations and religious pressures. It alludes to your inner struggle with the intricacies of faith and the societal interpretations of it, hinting at a desire to return to a simpler, more joyful understanding of your beliefs.
Setting and Characters: The second dream takes on a more anxious tone. You’re preparing to go to school, but you’re holding a suitcase and wearing formal clothes, which might symbolize the pressures you feel about being prepared and presenting yourself in a certain way. Your big sister’s involvement suggests a familial support system, but her inspecting your teeth may represent an external judgement you fear, particularly regarding your self-image or health.
Symbolism of the Teeth: The holes in your teeth can signify feelings of vulnerability and discomfort with how others perceive you. Teeth often symbolize power, the ability to express oneself, and confidence. In your case, the holes might indicate that you feel something important is missing or that part of your self-expression feels damaged. The act of licking the holes out of curiosity suggests an introspective nature, reflecting your desire to understand your own feelings and experiences despite the discomfort they bring.
State of Happiness After Waking: Upon waking from this dream, feeling better in mood might symbolize resilience. Despite the stress in your dreams, your subconscious highlights an intrinsic ability to find happiness and contentment—a realization that you can move beyond the complex pressures you feel.
Following the dreams, your real-life actions—trying to replicate the smiling position and being momentarily distracted by your environment—indicate your desire for connection to your dreams and experiences. The encounter with the man fixing decorations and the television screen playing "Curious George" highlights a playful affirmation of joy and curiosity, tying back to your earlier longing for a simpler, more carefree perspective.
Together, these dreams illustrate a young mind grappling with identity, societal pressures, and the balance between personal beliefs and external expectations. They suggest a journey towards understanding yourself and embracing a joyful yet complex path. Consider reflecting on these themes—connection, acceptance, and the challenges of self-expression—as you navigate your daily life, and allow room for exploration and playfulness amidst seriousness.
